Fiat is all geared up to launch a special edition model of the Fiat 500 which will be exclusively on sale through the internet. The model in question, the 500byDIESEL is the offshoot of a creative collaboration between Italian car giant and fashion label DIESEL.

The best proof of its success is the over 270 thousand orders received to date and the 29 prizes awarded around the world. And now, to this collection of prizes will be added the prestigious title of “Best Compact Car”, a recognition coming from Japan where the super compact Fiat was presented last spring.

The Fiat 500 - the much fancied car of 2008 has been launched in India. The two door Fiat new car is to be priced around 15lac ex-showroom Mumbai. The on-road price in India (Mumbai) will be close to 17lac.
